At 8:26, they posted a message to us that the surgery is now in progress. It took a little longer than expected to do the epidural, but it's started now.

Mamaw Corkern is here now. Liz (my mother-in-law) spent the night with us last night and came up here with us. Brad had planned to go to IHOP late last night since he couldn't eat after midnight, but we compromised at 8:00. After we ordered, I told him he was a cheap date...I would have sprung for Shapley's under the circumstances.
